Veteran suicide. Twenty-two per day. What can be done?

Awareness leads to prevention.

The Tampa Warriors are excited to announce our second annual Hockey Heals 22 charity fundraising event. Hockey Heals is 22-hours of consecutive hockey games played to raise awareness for the 22 veteran suicides that occur every day. The teams for this amazing event will consist of Police, Fire/Rescue, First Responders, and local teams. Some local celebrities will also be there in support of Awareness and Prevention.

Tampa Warriors Win at Lone Star Classic

Ray Rush led the Tampa Warriors to a championship at the 2021 Lone Star Classic this past weekend in Allen, Texas only allowing four goals all weekend. It was a great weekend of competitive hockey against the Minnesota, Dallas, Avalance, and Utah Warrior teams. The Warriors played very well as a team resulting in 10 separate players scoring goals. "You really can't ask for better team play. Everyone contributed whether they made the scoresheet or not. The best part was that we were referred to as 'class acts' by opposing teams" says Ryan Patrick, the Executive Director of the Tampa Warriors....

DISABLED VETERANS HEAL THROUGH HOCKEY AND SERVICE

The Tampa Warriors Hockey Program announced its first annual veteran suicide awareness and fundraising event Hockey Heals 22. The Warriors will be playing in a 22 (consecutive) hour hockey game between March 21st (6 pm) - March 22nd (4 pm) against local teams comprised of police officers, firefighters, high schools, collegiate level, and the Tampa Bay Lightning Alumni.
